We invite you to a spectacular show: a real 𝗠𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗛𝗜𝗧 by Marcin Zawicki.
This exhibition features paintings and sculptural objects that come together to create a seductive yet disturbing post-apocalyptic landscape, teeming with bizarre organisms that inhabit a world without humans. The works strike a balance between ugliness and fascinating beauty.
Join us for a ball amidst the ruins of our civilisation as Zawicki's works address pressing issues such as the ecological crisis, the twilight of the Anthropocene, and the evolving nature of post-human reality. Catastrophe becomes not so much the end, but the beginning of another, unpredictable narrative.
𝗠𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗛𝗜𝗧 is not just a dystopian vision, but a proposal for a different way of seeing; learning to live in a world where the human point of reference is no longer the measure of reality.

Marcin Zawicki is a visual artist who works primarily in painting and spatial forms. He is also the author of monumental sculptures and stage designs.
He creates his paintings based on biomorphic and grotesque models, combining organic motifs, pop culture relics and objects of unclear ontological status. Although he uses traditional oil painting techniques, the result is not a copy of reality, but an alternative version of it: a painterly simulation of a post-apocalyptic world.
Zawicki currently works as a professor in the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He has won many awards, including the Strabag Artaward (2021), the Kazimierz Ostrowski Award (2023) and the Gdańsk Theatre Award (2023), and has received the Gdańsk Cultural Scholarship Creative Fund (2025). He has participated in dozens of group and solo exhibitions. His works can be found in numerous collections, including the Gdańsk Contemporary Art Collection, the STRABAG Kunstforum, the National Museum in Gdańsk, the MCSW Elektrownia, the Bielsko-Biała Gallery, the Ergo Hestia Collection, the Krupa Art Foundation and others. He lives and works in Gdańsk.
